Mr. Fahed Buti Al Muhairi has over 22 years of experience in various fields, including national security, disaster risk reduction programs, infectious disease risk management, business continuity management, volunteer programs, community and institutional resilience, as well as human resources and financial management and training.
He currently serves as the Director of the Safety and Prevention Department at the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), overseeing proactive preventive efforts to reduce risks and ensure the continuity of national operations. He held the position of Director of Support Services from 2015 to 2020 and contributed to the establishment of the authority since 2008 by developing policies, procedures, and administrative and financial electronic systems. Before joining the authority, he held various positions at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited (GASCO).
He holds a Master's degree in strategic and security studies from the National Defense College in the United Arab Emirates, a Master's degree in strategic human resources management, and a Master's degree in quality management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Northumbria University in the United Kingdom.
