His Excellency Dr. Saif Al Dhaheri has over 28 years of experience in various fields, including national security, future foresight, engineering management, program and project management, information and communications technology, health, safety and environmental management, business continuity management, risk management, and emergency, crisis, and disaster handling operations.
His Excellency currently serves as the Director of the National Operations Center at the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), where he monitors and oversees incident management at both local and national levels. He held the position of Director of Safety and Prevention from 2012 to 2022 and contributed to the establishment of the authority since 2007. Dr. Saif has previously participated in numerous conferences and forums as a keynote speaker during various sessions, and he is a member of the Future Councils of the Davos Forum.
His Excellency Dr. Saif is the official spokesperson for the National Authority for Disaster and Emergency Management and is considered one of the key individuals in managing the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He has published several important articles in the fields of risk management, future risk foresight, and the management of the COVID-19 crisis in the country.
He holds a Ph.D. degree in strategic studies and project and program management from France, is a graduate of the sixth cohort of the National Defense College, holds a Master's degree in national security, a Master's degree in engineering systems management from the American University of Sharjah (AUS), and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the United States.
